Full Stack Development at Lendi

Kafka, TypeScript, React, event-driven architecture, microservices, and AWS - these are just some of the technologies I worked with during my time at Lendi, an Australian home loan software company. I contributed to several projects, including building new features for the customer portal and optimizing the performance of existing services. Lendi provides a service that is not yet available in New Zealand, so it was fascinating to learn about the home loan industry in Australia and how technology is transforming the way people access financial services.

The company was acquired by a large real estate group, which gave them access to significant funding to grow as a software company. This led to multiple trips to Australia to meet the team, collaborate, and enjoy impressive office spaces. Most importantly, it provided access to advanced tooling that is often out of reach for smaller companies, such as Chromatic, various authentication services, access to any and all IDEs and extensions and a substantial AWS budget. I am grateful for the experience and the opportunity to work with such a diverse team.

My love for Vista and its people ultimately led me to leave Lendi after a short stint.
